they pop the repair kit.

they know it'll take a while for you to reload, and in that time it takes you they can easily get a lot of health back

unless they get hit again

if a vehicle pops the repair kit and you tap them with the NTW all that healing is gone

now they have to leave

and you can continue to just pester them with shots as they drive away

because every bit of damage they take is going to keep auto-repair from kicking in

it's very low investment, low immediate reward, but it's not nothing

Tick damage is really annoying so hey, why not bring your gunners closer so they can shoot them? Well, if the NTW is backed up by an RPG and has their own RPG in their pocket? That'll get ya killed

I prefer dumb fired launchers: the M5 Recoilless and the RPG. If I'm fighting a lot of air vehicles, I pick the M5 Recoilless. It does less damage than the RPG but flies faster which means I can sometimes knock helis out of the sky.

Was talking with other BF/DF players over the past days...and these are some of the issues we have

Biggest issues with DF so far are:

• Sound design is bad, cant hear footsteps or even vehicles at close ranges

• Inconsistent movement abilities/speeds between operators makes gunplay feel inconsistent

• Weapon restriction is confusing (As a person above said...its weird that everyone can use the CAR-15 but only one class can the use M4A1 - Both are ARs)

• There is next to no community support ATM. No way to join a friend who is already in a game

• No way to edit weapons in game. Meaning if you are in a party of 2-4, you have to waste other players time/force them to sit in menus if you want to make a new loadout (Because all players need to ready up to join a game)

• The games UI is messy and confusing. Really hard to understand certain things. Players have to watch YouTube videos to figure out basic things like how to unlock the Hackclaw operator

• Movement needs some polish as there’s currently an issue with getting stuck on pebbles and other small objects which completely stops you when it shouldn’t. Or having issues jumping/vaulting over small walls/obstructions

• Game desperately needs ingame tutorials to explain things like how character abilities work. Once again you have to do a bunch of trial and error or watch YouTube videos to figure out how certain abilities work. Sometimes who aspects of abilities aren’t even mentioned ingame!

The gunplay feels like shit. The maps are shit. The vehicles are OP. You shoot an engineer and you die instantly to a RPG.

No FOV changes. Footstep audio is muffled by the loud ass Heli's you can hear from 100m away as if they were right ontop of you.

No hit good hit markers/sound. No feedback on shooting or getting shot.

IDK, I like the fact that the slide has such an impact on your momentum. You feel like you have to use it to dive to cover rather than rushing people, and that can make defending a point really fun.
I think if BFV, with all its new features, maintained the pacing of BF1 movement it would have been incredible

A slower pace means you can also use things like heavier lmgs, emplacements, or play tanks aggressively without getting flanked and wiped immediately

Guys what is the current meta weapons? I know everyone said before that VHX is the best one but it's recoil is so bad I can't control it even with BCG handle

I use a LWG grip on it, never bothered with the BCG. But you may also want to slap on a different muzzle.

If that still doesnt fix it: SFAR is a pretty low recoil long range rifle that fucks hard. The M5 Short barrel is a solid CQC weapon and mid range gun.

G36 fucks really hard in CQC/Mid as well. I use the STNR on it and a 3.4x and its one of my favourites.

RM68 is solid all around.

Basically the LWG for me is the end all be all for grips. Never had issues running it.

The issue with the bots is that they're replacements for players and not just bonus soldiers like they are in Battlefront 2 where you fight a mix of Bots and players in some modes regardless of how full the server is.
