I think the stealth vehicles in 2042 are neat

The Hannibal, Huron, and Draugr are all very fun to use

I will admit that the stealth choppers do feel kinda underwhelming since you basically have to stay in stealth mode to avoid getting bullied by AA but besides that it’s fun

And the Draugr is also very fun to use. The 30mm HE cannons and JDAM are the ideal setup IMO

One thing 2042 and BF in general has going for it is how good it's positional audio is for everything. Infantry, ground and air vehicles and it's super clear where everything is.

That's one of my most major issues with DF right now and in the previous alpha. The audio is absolutely terrible.

2. A series of weekly modes DICE hosts for community highlights/their own custom modes. (Modes like Air Superiority/tank superiority and TDM FFA are examples of Portal modes made by DICE)

Generally speaking, modes played on Portal have persistent lobbies and map rotations. Meaning you don't get kicked to the main menu after each round, unlike when playing All Out Warfare

As a sniper, I feel no real engagement from cod sniping mechanics. There’s no real strategy involved there nor do you get the time to be a recon, I’m good with close range and what not but cod gameplay is just mostly reaction time it’s boring, if I want to experience that I’ll hop in shipment once in a while but yea just dull for me

In 2042 I’ll get maybe 7-15 kills if I’m sniping long range and focus on spotting for my team, honestly feels more fulfilling playing a role you want and you can switch at anytime. People complaining about presets are just ridiculous and need to stop crying cuz they are good

Would recommend watching something like MattyOW’s pasu guide, or christmasiscancelled’s tracking and flicking guides.

But if you just want to play the game and improve, find a training portal mode and save it, play through it while practising different scenarios and challenging yourself.
