I T1'ed the pondhawk mostly by flying into infantry, especially snipers. It's the most fun vehicle they have ever made, the blonk sound when you hit someone and their ragdoll flies through the air are always fun.

Just a wild guess but had same problem. My CPU is old (i3-8100) and battlefield is cpu dependent. Had lot of input drops, micro stutters and using discord was impossible. You can find custom User.cfg files online that change how bf2042 use your cpu ( as for some reason that entry assume you want to give it 100% of every core you have ). After that and some other tweaks I have stable 60fps without input lag but cuz of bad cpu I still can't use discord
