Try to defend a base. People will come to you and you will have the advantages they have to run and find you, while you have your cover to shoot from when they appear.
Learning the maps is a huge part. Focus on a small area on each map, and play that only when it's that map. You learn where the covers are, where the enemy normaly comes from and so on

yes, when approaching targets you do not want your laser on, they reflect off surfaces and give your position away, they should only be on in close combat situations as they decrease hipfire spread

Yes actually. I prefer the bots in my tanks than the players. They're actually aware. They actually shoot targets that they can damage.

While sure a CAV with the APSD or whatever is basically wasted with a bot, its still SHOOTING at something and looking around.

And the Draugr Kirosene bomb whatever its called is powerful but looking at it: It needs it.

A single Crawford can take out a Draugr. It has little to no defenses against lock ons.

A Wildcat will prevent the Draugr from being in play. Simply by existing. It has 2 AA Lockon missiles to start. And thats enough to kill the Draugr.

it isn't to do with monetisation, 2042's identity crisis was due to them trying to have the game being a battle royale, it got axed and redeveloped half way through

the monetisation for this game all things considered is relatively fine, battlefield 3/4 fractured and split the playerbase because premium created multiple factions of playerbase per map, this is better for the franchise as a whole
