depends on what you're doing
DXR is good for long range sniping. The SWS works basically anywhere if you kit it right. The NTW blows infantry away at 100m and does serious damage to light armored vehicles. And the other sniper is best at medium to long range.

i think most using voice are and would be using something other than in game voice anyway. hopefully those aren't the same ones that were complaining about it not being in the game. personally i want proximity voice. im sure lots would disable it and thats fine and good, but it would be cool and good to have for the rest. it could be a nice balance to the mostly useless squad revive (unless you have a group playing together which is not common and not promoted effectively in the game). just requiring everybody to be thrown in squads regardless is imo, not necessary or even desired, and certainly not effective.

Not sure why people trash this game. I'm personally having a blast. The Portal mode has tons of fun unique game modes and I really enjoy creating custom games in the portal creator. I can play with friends or against Bots if I want to test it out and fine-tune the game to play the way I want. In what game can you have 100 WW2 players with bolt action rifles play again 32 modern soldiers that are all equipped with snipers, LMGs, and assault rifles. You could do 131 players with knives against one player with an LMG. Anything in BF1942, BF3, BF2, or BF2042 can be changed to create the environment and situation you want to create. This alone makes the game more than worth it.
My favorite portal creation is making the game a Military Simulator. Increasing the world damage (1.2x), headshot damage (3.2-3.5x), and body damage (1.5-1.75x) encourages smart gameplay and strategy. Along with this, I have friendly fire on and use immediate respawns (only on a strategic point, not a squad member) so that reinforcements have to hustle back to the battle line and try to hold as their teammates fall. Soldier health can only be increased with medkits and the med-pen, supplies brought with at spawn. I also increased vehicle health (2.0x) with no regeneration unless you hop out and physically use a repair tool. The vehicle respawn time is 1.5-2.0x so that vehicles have more importance and must be protected. The delayed spawn time along with the health increase means teamwork to repair the vehicles and use the vehicles to support advances and draw the fire away from troops. Not having a mini-map prevents the ability to see players on a mini-map makes you move with increased caution and in numbers instead of blindly running forward into gunfire. The Rush mode creates a clear battle line that provides clear team recognition without seeing an identifier on who is a friend or foe. Sometimes you hit your own guys with a tank blast. Your actions have increased meaning and promote teamwork

Not sure why people trash this game. I'm personally having a blast. The Portal mode has tons of fun unique game modes and I really enjoy creating custom games in the portal creator. I can play with friends or against Bots if I want to test it out and fine-tune the game to play the way I want. In what game can you have 100 WW2 players with bolt action rifles play again 32 modern soldiers that are all equipped with snipers, LMGs, and assault rifles. You could do 131 players with knives against one player with an LMG. Anything in BF1942, BF3, BF2, or BF2042 can be changed to create the environment and situation you want to create. This alone makes the game more than worth it.
My favorite portal creation is making the game a Military Simulator. Increasing the world damage (1.2x), headshot damage (3.2-3.5x), and body damage (1.5-1.75x) encourages smart gameplay and strategy. Along with this, I have friendly fire on and use immediate respawns (only on a strategic point, not a squad member) so that reinforcements have to hustle back to the battle line and try to hold as their teammates fall. Soldier health can only be increased with medkits and the med-pen, supplies brought with at spawn. I also increased vehicle health (2.0x) with no regeneration unless you hop out and physically use a repair tool. The vehicle respawn time is 1.5-2.0x so that vehicles have more importance and must be protected. The delayed spawn time along with the health increase means teamwork to repair the vehicles and use the vehicles to support advances and draw the fire away from troops. Not having a mini-map prevents the ability to see players on a mini-map makes you move with increased caution and in numbers instead of blindly running forward into gunfire. The Rush mode creates a clear battle line that provides clear team recognition without seeing an identifier on who is a friend or foe. Sometimes you hit your own guys with a tank blast. Your actions have increased meaning and promote teamwork

I ask you to observe when I am near the banker's entrance, and in a matter of seconds a brown wall appears and then when I'm walking down the corridor of what appears to be a banker, the wall appears again in a matter of seconds... and I want to know if anyone can tell me if it's a "bugs field" bug or a problem with my PC, I remember when the game launched, these walls actually appeared almost all the time in "random" places and it was really annoying because you were forced to wait for the wall to disappear to be able to continue in the direction you wanted, but I also remember that some time later this probable bug no longer happened, If someone tells me that this happens to you too, I REALLY hope that the developers give the necessary time to get the damn game in perfect condition

Yes, but for the last 4/5 seasons...the game has shifted away from 128P modes. the last 4/5 maps have all had a focus on being 64 P only. (Can still be played in custom modes with 128P, but design wise they are made for 64)
