I dont think its a massive issue that such a thing can happen. 9/10 the AA will kill the heli. You need insane teamwork to kill the wildcat first, especially since the TOW nerf

Yeah, Wildcat has become much, much more specialized with the "after RAM change" you're talking about. It's hard to get a hold of a RAM, too. It's a queue clicker, which is the #1 thing I loathe in all of Battlefield (followed by forced squad mechanics that are too loose, and not needed in my opinion.)

for input response if you are using gsync then vsync needs to be engaged to on in the Nvidia control panel, if not then vsync should be off, max frame rate engaged at 2/3 frames under the monitor cap with low latency mode on (this doesn't do anything in games which use reflex, it's there if it doesn't)

just be aware some of those changes are for absolute minimum response times, that can compromise performance, that card is extremely weak so it may introduce issues in the process, random hitching, or others similar

Very concerned at the fact that people are way more focused on KD in conquest mode and frankly just going through past Battlefield footage since 1942, it shows way more in how people use squads less unless with actual real-life friends
I'd love to see you get 1/4 of the points for kills unless on points, and just a generalized increase in points for playing the objective/missions requiring objective play
"players want to focus on that (personal kills, assists, revives, deaths, etc) so we should let them do it here in conquest" isn't the right response for the generalized deviation from what conquest really should be.
if that's the case then make TDM modes more prominent and a proper outlet for players to play the game differently that doesn't straight affect those trying to play Conquest

the problem with 2042 and future titles is common with FPS games and frankly a lot of online games
they charge for the base game which has benefits, but the downside is a slower growth of a userbase/matchmaking system, that is VERY VERY STRONGLY TIED TO MARKETING OR FRANCHISE HYPE
so with games like 2042, they sold actually decently
but flopped hard and then the user experience plummeted
because the game was really designed to have full lobbies, in each region, with proper distribution of skill/etc
say you get stomped...........you just leave mid-match and get into a new map, new team, etc easily
(this happened for 1-2 months on launch)
now? good luck, you're getting in the same fucking lobby, same team unless you wanna wait in matchmaking for 5-10

Hello. I managed to figure out something new that may invalidate prior findings.
It was discovered that if you have unclaimed In-Game Items on Steam (i.e. Paid Inventory Items)—particularly those awarded through DLC purchases, that only become fully owned the next time one launches a game to claim them (See Unturned Gold DLC item set)—it appears to cause Battlefield 2042 to hang for too long when Connecting to Online Services on startup, and fail to consistently do first-time launches through Steam.
Check up on your old games from time to time. Maybe it could tie up loose ends in the Steam backend that strangely affect this game, too.

How come my cpu goes to 100 when I play 2042? Even just running on the main menu or even ready to que in it barely goes to 20% but as soon as I hit them lobbies. Boom! 90-99 on the cpu. Hadn't really had this problem before. Any guesses? I played Xdefiant and it was ok around 60-70%.

okay, the problem you have is that the servers you've been playing for a long time were "Full XP" that means there were no XP restrictions whatsoever, but now I think you're joining "Moderate XP" servers and so your XP is limited and that's probably the reason why it stoped yesterday

Its by design tho. So there isnt anything to fix. Best solution would be for you to make some PVE AI experiences you can self host as needed. Those are better anyways, as they allow weeklies progress, as well as all the other stuff you get with solo and co-op

The kit is a knife that can simply one shot the enemy when used on them, and the passive is that his running speed is 50% higher than the other specialists

i had two exact opposite games today. one where our team wouldn't leave spawn with vehicles. the other where the decent players left spawn with vehicles and did their job
turns out when a team's vehicles do their job and kill their targets, their infantry can move around and capture objectives wow crazy
i roamed around in a TOR and annihilated their ground vehicles (sometimes air too if they came too low). our AA moved up out of spawn and kept the air locked down
at the end we almost had every objective captured
though i didn't really get countered too often. i only died once because i ran into two brawlers in a row and each time literally every engineer came out to shoot a rocket at me
and another time another TOR came out to fight me and i ran away and left them to my team when they tried chasing me
it's great when vehicles put in work

in one of my last few games, everyone was AT LEAST 50m away from the objective we had to defend. I was literally the only one apart from a few AI who passed through to defend

The kerosene bombs are a bit overrated
They’re cool, and fantastic for killing infantry, but more often than not you’re useless against other vehicles
