Assaults have bandoliers and AT grenades hanging off their belt, medics have crutches on their back, supports have funny helmets and plenty of ammo pouches, and scouts have coats or tarps worn like capes

Bf1 really is a masterclass in art design and gameplay melding together

found a quirk in the stupid ass 4v4 mode, if a shock round gun has attachments assigned by default (m60) they'll be available in the plus menu

are vehicles bugged or something? i can not microadjust in heli properly AT ALL, its either delayed, feels like its desync, or just does NOT move AT ALL unless i hold down said keybind for 2-3 seconds, which when strafing a vehicle, i NEED to be able to maneuver instantly, no damage, just randomly locking up rotational axis

and its on and off at that, its not consistent, its like the helis have obtained their own personal minds and are beginning to rebel against us

i cant recall if it was happening a few days ago, but it has been super bad since i swapped the "TILT" keybind to A and D and then changed the rotation to left and right mouse, after changing back (yes even after reset to default) A and D (rotate, default keybind) rarely registers ESPECIALLY in apache, but is random as to when it stops working

All in all it was a pretty weird match

Let me ask you though, is there anything that lives longer than a Brawler or MAV that goes full yolo through your frontlines and into the back caps

Because I swear to god nobody tries to stop them

So, rSPOT\*rFRAG appear to measure something important for winning. These interactions seem to be properly measuring players that can do multiple things and adapt to what needs to be done to win as opposed to players who play absolutely safe, and simply deal out damage (rDMGc only).

Per player analysis indicated (and Eureqa agrees apparently) that rFRAGc \*rSPOTc can tell you a lot about how much a player actually manages to win. The authors believe it has to do with aggresiveness and willingness to create opportunities for the team. If you are solidly getting high rSPOTSc values, you are putting yourself in more risky positions on the map, and if you are doing so while maintaining high avg frags, damage, defense and wins, IMHO you are a better player than if you manage the same damage and frags sitting in the back and shooting targets your teammates light up.

Assault using the SCAR L and support the SCAR H, When you hit a threshold - You'll unlock the gun for the other class.

But the weapon will be specifically balanced around the class therefore you cannot get full effectiveness.

On support the SCAR H will have less ammo than the SCAR L therefore you need more ammo packs while the SCAR L requires you to get close and therefore survivability is what you need.

I’m playing on PS5 and every match I get in to lasts about 5 minutes and then the screen goes black and I’m back at the main menu. Is this a server issue?

I did try 64 player conquest and it was the same. Sometimes I get 5-7 minutes of play and then players start floating and rubber banding and then it kicks me back to the menu with no do screen or anything

I’m unsure what the issue is, so a new router might not help - have you checked with Sky to see if they’re performing maintenance or if there’s some sort of partial outage?

Because this sounds a bit like what I experienced recently with Spectrum, normally my internet is fine, but for about a week they were performing maintenance and it would disrupt internet periodically at random

You can diagnose whether it’s the router by hard wiring into your modem - if you don’t experience issues directly from your modem, then potentially the router is at fault

Yeah I checked my service through the app and it seemed fine. The only issues I’ve encountered have been while trying to play BF2042 for the last 2 days. I bought the game last Sunday and it’s only since yesterday I’ve had any issues.

Actually, my wife did mention it disconnected for a bit the other day and I wasn’t playing anything.

If I were you I’d try to hard reset the modem and router, just unplug both for 30 seconds, then plug the modem in first then the router

That’s likely what they’ll tell you to do, don’t click the button that resets your modem because that’s a last resort

If by last you mean youll still be able to find games in populated regions, then yes. But there will be no more content. If youre in outlier regions, like OCE or Africa, then youll probably have a bad time finding games.

All depends on the way its implemented. Vehicles being OP in nature could have a very slow speed of swapping between round types. Like in BFV repairing was a much more risk/reward system, as repairing meant you could basically not move.

I really hope fast auto repair goes away, and they bring the franchise back to a more manual approach of doing things. At least for ground vehicles that can/should have to stop to repair.

If you are under level 10, I think you matchmake with only other under level 10 players. This game has a...unique approach to finding games. where instead of a game/server browser, you just select from the available modes and it auto matches you into a game for that mode in a favorable region.

There is no server browser for core modes. Only a browser on the Portal part of the game (Community focused), but 99% of the modes/servers you will find there will be trash heaps

Im not 100% sure how they handle lower level players ATM, but if you see players higher than 10, then you are probably already with the general populace

Bots in this game are handled as PVP or PVE bots. PVP bots are placeholder enemies, until a real player is ready to be queued into your game. When a player is added to your server, they replace an AI bot

It all really depends on your region at this point.

2042 player count (at least on steam) hasnt ever been amazing, but it has been in decline since mid season 6, and will only continue to get lower as players lose interest.

No probs. I do enjoy jumping between BF1, V and 2042 (IMO the gunplay in 2042 is best, but maps are better in others). So playing all on a rotation will serve you well 😄

Yeah, I only started played battlefield this year, but BF1 and BFV are already my favorite FPS games. I prefer BFV now, but I sometimes hop on BF1 to see if a [MIXED] sever is up, there's still like 9 maps I've never played lol

For 2042, remember that all of the weapons get SIGIFICANTLY better when you unlock all their attachments. You can do so in the solo and coop modes against bots.

So if you want to reduce frustrations with having to fight level 500 players with all of said attachments unlocked, its good to do that (And to learn how best to use a weapon without being curb stomped by great players)

Of course its true, having 5-12% less vertical recoil on a last barrel attachment, more ADS accuracy from a grip or +15 rounds in a standard issue extended mag is a massive increase to DPS
