You can see they have tried to roll back a lot of the bullshit specialists and vehicle sin 2042 tho. Like at launch almost every vehicle had explosive anti heli/vehicle cannons.

Now, many of them have had those removed, and those vehicles now fulfil a role, be it transport, Anti air, anti-tank...ETC.

Air vehicles have issues fr sure. The fact that we have different vehicles in the same class, but with totally different flight models and feels in terrible (PLZ fix the flight model on the nightbird and stealth choppers)

Like there is little to no excuse for the pondhawk to be a better feeling vehicle, than the stealth and nightbird...but here we are

Either way my point here regarding balance mainly for air vehicles is, I get why people disliked bf4s vehicle balance, yet it was better (IMO). I can 100% understand that they deserved some sort of nerf dont get me wrong here.
But now lets look at bf42s balance. Imma list some of the issues I have with it,

• Flight assist makes air vehicles feel weird
• They lost alot of firepower yet have to counter way more explosive spam
• Railgun tank (nerfed but still good) a basc. deathstar to vehicles (they shouldnt 1 tab, which im glad they no longer do in most situations)
• General explosive spam, I sometimes have 4-5 liz rockets coming at me, its not rare to get locked on by 4-5 people either, on top of that soflam and getting hacked.
• Jet balance, a stealth jet should be a air superiority fighter, and the attack jet should be an infantry killing machine. But non of those should work on their own and get alot of kills, stealth fighters and attack jets have to work together.
• New stealth bomber, should get some sort of countermeasure, should be slower, less maneuverable (its legit a dogfighter bruh)
• Different air vehicle classes, split attack heli, attack jets from normal jets helis etc.
• make more use of the different weapons and attachments, some feel so useless, there is really only one way to play and some of the perks are simply useless or underpowered like the EMP bomb, different layouts of guns and perks used should make u be able to play different roles
• Jet movement should be more like the BF4 one (imo)
• Stealth heli shouldnt have been nerfed so hard, it was a good vehicle (too op at the start) but in-between was well balanced now, u rather rarely see it in use
• All the bugs we got right now
• "Stealth" should mean something, be harder to spot on the map, be harder to lock on, but here its just a name, not a aspect of use.

The flight assist is basically a bug at this stage. You cant turn it off...and its only bugged on the nightbird and stealth helis

It just feels really inconsistent for a player trying to learn the game. Aiming in the nightbird is the worst...considering you have to aim a lot up and down to fight other helis...but the assist (which you cant disable) is always fighting you to try level you out.

Sure, at most they would be able to regain the next objective. But they'll only be able to keep it for a maximum of 40-50 seconds or so

ehhh, theres typically 3 lanes and its super easy to hold the side lanes, you are generally just running down giant empty corridors, hell you get ziplines down the corridors at your spawns

if at any point someone gets far enough to camp those ziplines, good luck getting them out of there

Yeah that makes alot of people upset. Unfortunately there's a decent sized portion of all the MnK FPS communities believe. Raw aim on controller is equivalent to aiming on mouse. No one looks as movement thresholds such. Just aim assist. Unfortunately it'll only get worse. Aim assist will eventually be allowed on MnK and they'll buff AA on controller to unbelievable amounts. All while input lag and movement caps get ignored or a quick patch. Then everyone gets shafted. Lol 😂

I do feel like their being class locked weapons allows better balance of those weapons, as you can not only balance the weapons, but also balance them against the class that can use thems gadgets. AKA, its more acceptable for ARs to be really good all rounders, if you only have a medic/support type class with access to them.

They played into the assault rifle idea but they were still very good at their as lmgs with their range.

A really big discrepancy between 2042 and bf5 is that people wanting to bipod couldn't run fucking ranged optics.

There's something extremely disappointing with BF2042 and LMGs as well to me, it's that they tried to tie those ties Engineer class with gun proficiencies, whatever system we got in next game, gun proficiencies or gun restrictions, I hope LMGs are a Support thing again

Assault rifles had a longer sprint out time (the assault class would rectify their completely) and sway would have been adjusted for anything out side of recon to incentivise their use within the class. But they obviously went away with that.

I'd rather assault medic support and recon.

Bf5 handled classes really well even if the balance wasn't perfect sometimes.

Thing is about assault is that everyone is playing with explosives so it goes hand in hand pressuring armour.
