No, descruction in Finals is all server sided, Destruction in 2042 is still client sided AFAIK, but that data is replicated to the server to keep client to client views in sync.

Finals level destruction would not be possible in a game at the scale of Battlefield. Its only possible AFAIK in Finals because of how low their player count per map is

Yeah, you can get bad data from player direct input some of the time...but TBH at least since they basically started remaking this game (2042) they havent really had many bad changes added...at least nothing that wasnt ironed out in a few days.

They seem to be relatively good at filtering the good feedback

there is a expectation that when a game is announced it's released, not a early access prototype which actually doesn't exist until 2/3 years down the line
