System board manufacturers have been releasing instructions and even BIOS updates to fix that.

Did you look into that?

First step is check if your BIOS is latest and also latest Intel chipset drivers before you do any other troubleshooting.

If you have a windows computer and you’ve been getting BSOD when launching the game, it’s been linked to issues within the ea anti cheat software.

It worked for a few of my clan mates to do Windows security -> Device security -> Core isolation -> Turn on memory integrity (toggle off/on if already on). This fixed their problems and one of the ea community managers said to do the same thing on the ea battlefield forum.

Interesting as well. My Memory Integrity has been off for a while, also I just checked my Advanced Scaling settings and this has been On for some reason. Although my game always launches.

Just goes to show how finicky things can get (for better or worse) depending on everyone's custom configurations.

Just turned it off either way cause that's not needed.

HOWEVER, during the last half of 2023, my 2042 DID constantly fail to launch the 1st, sometimes 2nd and even 3rd time until it would finally work. I wonder if it was because of Advanced Scaling but again, it's been on this whole time.

So far this year, I've noticed 2042 always launches the first time.

Acer CB281HK 2160p monitor panel.
Broken DisplayPort, so native bandwidth support and handling is nonexistent.

When the game tries to interact with my display and grab the viewport, it will fail unless I turn off this setting in Windows. Likely due to sheer scaling and pixel density differences between the panel's maximum resolution in Windows and the game (Played at 1080p).

My setup is an example of peak unoptimization/being led astray by sheer hardware resource increases and upgrades during the mid-late 2010s also meaning 2160p could be idealistically played on with then-current hardware.

We made a decision not to do so because the border of the map would then be extremely in your face and our goal is not to have that take place (and encourage out of bounds skirting). The location will still be heavy as it is part of a route to get to other areas of the Stadium but the focus isn't the middle of that area.
