Played five or six matches this morning. Got steamrolled by the same team every single time, in about six minutes. Mind you, at least one of them had a macro for continuously toggling crouch, and half my team was saying they were cheating in other ways, too. They were running inside our deployment and killing us more often than not. And then they got a tank. Just kept instantly dying to tank shells every time I spawned.

All the while, that was by far the most toxic lobby I've ever been in, in any game, period. The state of all chat in that lobby was something to behold. The other team was just entirely trolls, continuously taunting, feeding off each other, and even making ||rape jokes.|| That's not what I come to Battlefield for. Never seen that level of childish behavior in Battlefield before.

Why do I think the mode is awful? Lots of reasons. Spawns are too exposed. Not enough time after defenders deplete the enemy's tickets and clear out the area around their MCOMs to actually push out into the next objective and capture it. The ability for vehicles to bombard spawns, which pairs with the exposed nature of spawns.

Best way to beak it is to deliberately fall back to Mcoms so you get vehicles. Then pull up in an MBT and Brawler. steam roll the other team then.

I would have done as the devs joked about before. Make the turret a gause cannon, which only targets vehicles. Make it fire faster on target aquisition...and also have decent targetting of air vehicles.

And get rid of the area of effect thing around the turret. Make is the same effectiveness regardless fo range. He is an engineer, any vehicle getting shot by thing thing is going to fire its cannon straight at it, resulting in your death. (If you play him as they currently expect you to)

But as it has V high velocity, it would be very effective in that rnge. Id also make its health the same as the ranger or higher. If you make it no longer target infantry, there are next to no issues with it having high health.

Lots of cool things you could do with a turret gadget like this. Like do all of the above, but any infantry shooting it could get spotted like the passive the Brawler already has (As an idea to make there be a cat and mouse element to infantry deciding to shoot/kill it)

apparently something is broken in windows firewall, but now that i know what it is i will fix it, HOWEVER it did happen right after 7.0 and later in BFV while other games still work, so under certain conditions defender+firewall+uefi EAAC can get bugged in FW, IF previously installed

Having known cheats only helps the devs, cos they can know 100% for sure that they are hacking...look at logs from their games and identify the hacks in use, add them to detection systems to log other users.

he's got over 800h in it so its second nature for him, realistically if you wanted to attempt it you'd need to up the sensitivity, but you've never going to get the level of precision he's got with the control

I had over 1000 hours in BF4 flying but it doesn’t translate at all to this game.. the controls and physics are more like Grand Theft Auto than anything remotely useful unless you have some sort of advantageous genetic disposition.

okay so i got my ps5 controller to work on steam however its stuck using the xbox inputs, i disabled steam inputs but the inputs broke (clicking R2 is like pressing X & clicking L2 is like pressing O), only 2 that work are enable & default inputs... any fix to this?

Sony's controller is not natively supported on pc, youll need to upgrade the firmware https://controller.dl.playstation.net/controller/lang/en/fwupdater.html then use a program like DS4 to translate the inputs

I feel you but the key for me is knowing when to change the scope cuz I used to stubbornly only wanna use x10 scope but now I just adapt to situations and practice aiming for the head as quick as possible. With moving target it’s a bit harder
