Completing the battlepass as early as possible or before the start of this year is valid. Good for you. Anyone who completed after that time. Good for you also. The battlepass is the main source of progression in a season. When a new season is announced for a certain month it comes with expectations. If those expectations of the battlepass ending by the time the new season releases doesn't come to fruition then fine, but it requires at least a microscopic addition of communcation from the socials team at the very least. They failed to do so. I complete my battlepasses the same way. I have done so for every game. DICE broke the trend of how battlepasses end this season by not offering any reminders that it would end in the last month. For all I know they might not have even gave a reminder in the last 2 or even 3 months. All I do know is that in the last month or so I've been checking my post notifcations waiting for the last week or so to come back and finish it, but they couldn't even manage a month in advance reminder. But anyway, it doesn't really matter what I say here. Those who never own up to being wrong take great joy in demanding others own up to their mistakes. I bid you good day sir

more like, they could be affected more if it's not well-tuned - for example, high horizontal recoil and high ROF can mean big angular jumps left and right in short amounts of time, and you don't want the reticle to overshoot too much screen center or the screen to move in an uncomfortable way, this doesn't really happen with lower ROF or semi auto in the same way
also some parts of the movement can ramp up as you keep firing vs shorts bursts, controlled by curves and so on

no, because you can't move at sprint speed in water. if you don't have a vehicle, you sprint. this game also has tac sprint to make this a little better. it also has a vehicle call-in so you can bring in a transport vehicle in the middle of nowhere.

in water you're fucked. you move slower, can't use weapons except sidearms, can't swim any faster, can't call in a boat, you're just stuck

I am concerned that, by increasing the visual recoil, it will cause weapons to have more percieved spread. We saw this happen in BF1 and BF4. Deviating the reticle from the center of the crosshair can also make weapons feel more frustrating to use in a subtle way, especially since 2042 still has broken input

I played the FUCK out of this expansion when it came out when I was a kid lol

Yeah cuz when BFBC2 was out for a while and BF3 came out

Like BF3 was definitely a major improvement with the frostbite engine but I understand why more veteran players disliked the gameplay and what not

I do like the more immersive/realism design from dice GENERALLY speaking with BF3 and 4. I miss that type of immersion in CoD/battlefield

Sound design and character models I’d say are probably the more in front of your face ways it’s done

Also voice acting

BF3, 4 and 1 did really well in these regards, which is why I’m super receptive to them as installments in the franchise

Realism can really hurt gameplay though so I do agree it should be kept to more aesthetic or visual/audio aspects of design

Realism was why we got attrition in BFV or suppression in 3 and 4

I think 2042 outside of its issues has some really really great mood / environment aesthetic

I’ve never been big on rush tbh, breakthrough has really absolved most of what I play battlefield for nowadays (even over conquest)

Should give rush a whirl when it’s in rush xl mode

In the past I think I didn’t care for it as much since iirc it was an 8v8/16v16 game mode, conquest had more players so more chances for kills, nowadays I prefer breakthrough for being linear (although funny enough rush is linear too)

I don’t play 2042 but I can check out rush sometime out of curiosity, bf1 is the only battlefield I still consistently play
