Snap aim assist needs to go. The whole point of an FPS is to aim. Assist controller users, not "do it all for you". Yes, the mouse is easy, yes I'm still better than most, but there are people who are crushing because they've learned to abuse the free legal aimbot. This trend is now in too many games. #bringbackaim

Force people to have to aim, and tighten up that code routine that causes so many input issues on the latest frostbite featured in 2042. It's so prevalent too, press and hold the "request revive" for 30 seconds and the game will think you've unpressed the button randomly until it reregisters you holding the button, again, all because the input handler is so glitched. This of course definitely messes up the mouse and aiming / shooting as well. As well as other buttons.
So whatever you all did with the 2042 version of frostbite ... š¬

I recently downloaded the EA launcher software via the Xbox application on my PC.
So I was able to download Battlefield 2042.
At first, the first few times I downloaded it, the game launched, a loading screen then bam, the game closed without an error message.
I tried again and again but nothing worked, so I uninstalled battlefield then reinstalled it, it still didn't work.
I uninstalled the launcher then reinstalled and then I reinstalled Battlefield 2042 again, this time it worked, it allowed me to play yesterday and today, without any problem.
Today I restarted my game, the problem came back, so I repaired my game, I cleared the cache, I uninstalled and re-installed, it still doesn't work.
I'm pretty tired of having to wait more than 2 hours for a game that doesn't work in the end.

Just doing circles isnāt enough, you will need to break out of that loop angle and try to cut into him, or maybe try some sort of split or scissors to get an angle on him.

He is using better afterburners if that is happening. You mainly want to use them at the top of your turn and the bottom. make sure to not burn them out otherwise you will always lose versus a good pilot

Well like any skill, sure you can go and throw yourself against a brick wall and eventually youāll get through. But you have to find the tutorials that arm you with a pickaxe that will lessen the duration and strain of that learning period.
Learn some of these concepts, then work on applying them, then youāll get to that level

I don't think you really need to watch full videos like that. They usually pad for the sake of algorithms anyway. There's a handful of tips you can glean by skipping through them or looking up the wikipedia on basic fighter manoeuvers

Itās just the real real pros that still pose a huge problem to me. I managed to get some (for me) decent matches going like 18-0 in just a jet, then I got shot out of the sky by a Wildcat.

When I track with mouse really good at whatever range and I even impress myself, I'm usually too busy grinding my aim to feel great about what I just did. "Gotta do it again and again, no time for celebrations. Controller aim snap won't afford me that time"
But then I remind myself time and time again to relax. That scenario where someone presses 2 controller buttons faster than I can aim or flick, I'm going up against a fairly automated system. It's not worth all the extra effort for (hence my points way earlier).
But I'll never join the "if you can't beat em, join em" movement that's been happening. Aiming is fun, everything I learned was an enjoyable rewarding experience.

Another important thing to maintain would be that max push causes a certain rotational speed in that angle, rather than a mouse's position movement. However with an "digital sensor" stick that accurate, you could then make it into a conceptual thumb mouse accuracy too. Which would be alot like turning a mouse upside down and dragging your thumb across it like you suggested. (I've done that for fun years back just to make my mice into a remote control for my computer. I wrote a bit of code to invert the y axis and that's all that was needed. Allows you to use a wireless laser mouse as a remote for any computer, no mouse pad or surface required. Not as accurate as standard usage but surprisingly close)
