Search them out in the "Install/Uninstall" thingy in Windows...you'll know what to keep and what to ditch. Bloat-ware can interfere with stuff, particularly Norton, Kaspersky, etc. Try that, restart your pc afterwards, and see you you go! 😉

portal is all but abandoned, it has some minor updates from time to time but that's all
you can still make servers but don't expect quantitative updates
