they had no real reason to even consider 2 maps in a season up till now other than if they thought there was enough momentum to justify it, and we didn't have that till this season

my point is, I don't think it's as well mapped out in advance like it would be pre-launch with a guaranteed 4 season schedule, although, 2042 has never really been able to stay ahead of schedule

Probably, although I do believe from essentially 2042's launch (or at least post-trauma period) that they already put folks on the next game
It feels as if DICE moved to a standard post-launch live team after launch. This is not me saying "skeleton crew", just, whats typical for that stage

yeah I wouldnt be surprised if they kept more than they initially had hoped to when they realized how dire it was
