It has an extremely innovative layout in that it is… a square.

Makes it a lot harder for a team to get pinned or turn everything into a boring stalemate when there’s way more routes to take

BFV actually does have a team switch option but it’s super convoluted and I think only available on console

Basically you have to go onto the scoreboard and start looking at the profiles of players

They show that they’re in a match and how many people are in their squad

If there is a free slot, you can ‘join their game’ seamlessly without losing score or whatever.

Honestly it’s actually worse for team balance than 1’s team switching because it doesn’t have provisions for if the teams are already unbalanced

So it doesn’t matter if they already outnumber you or have a substantial lead
