They all have their use. SWS is versatile. Jack of all trades. Gets underbarrel options.
DXR is long range. Lots of velocity and high mag options.
NTW is an "Anti Materiel" rifle but its basically a 100m Shotgun in terms of use (One shot body shot up to 100) but you can use it for its intended purpose. But mainly as a support tool for Anti Vehicle.
XCE is a more CQC oriented sniper. Has the quickest rechamber of the bunch. And reloads I think. Struggles to kill in one headshot at extreme ranges (where SWS and DXR dont)
GOL is just good overall 🤷♀️

I've never fired the VHX-D3 because it's disgusting and beneath me. Is there a glitch where if you shoot it and scope at the right time, you get like 1.5x to 2x the rate of fire? Because if so... Dice... the nerf for this thing can't come soon enough and that also needs to be addressed.

It just has an absurd TTK. It has less recoil than the AM40 which is mechanically the same gun.
Well not mechanically the same but they both shoot fast, hit fucking hard and have absurd TTKs.
Difference being AM40 is balanced because it has bloom and recoil.
VHX has little visual recoil but its getting higher bloom.

Before the recent update and season ive not seen the SFAR "One tap" me. Its usually 2-3 hits audibly before I die.

Yeah but I tend to be glued to the minimap at some points and it's just a revive symbol and so I throw a smoke and then see AI when running. Could've thrown it for someone who won't get up and continue walking straight into the enemy (hopefully)
