I'm not deaf and i'm not answering for them, however from my experience with having no audio in-game (I usually play music and have zero in-game audio): I become more visually aware and active.

I've been playing shooters for years, and even in games like Unreal Tournament 2004 I spent alot of hours playing without audio for the sake of music.

To say i'm hyper aware might be a bit much but shit like the Minimap become my Ears so to speak. And I am looking all over my screen quickly. Gathering as much information i can.

And since this game has some weird fucking audio with footsteps, I can honestly get away with having no audio because chances are i'm not going to hear the person behind me.

I have been facing a stuttering issue for 3-4 days in this game. It started out of nowhere, it stutters randomly and is quite frequent. Is anyone facing this issue? What can I do to prevent this issue?

I have been playing BF2042 for the past 6 months and never faced this issue before.

Specs:-

CPU - AMD R5 5600x GPU - Nvidia RTX 3060 12 gb RAM - 16 gb

CPU is not heating, and it's cold weather here.

P.S.: It's also consuming 80 to 95% of RAM for some reason.

We have now deployed a server-side change on #Battlefield2042 with some balance changes for this weapon

Please allow some time for the following changes to roll out across all available game servers today.

VHX-D3 Changes:

▫️ Dispersion will now increase faster as more consecutive shots are fired, while also decreasing faster once firing has ceased. Burst Fire is now more effective than Full Auto.

▫️ Hipfire starting accuracy reduced while standing

▫️ Horizontal recoil reduced by ~10% to promote long-range burst firing

And Rao is busted. He's actually always been busted but people just have no idea how to play him because most of the playerbase has no interest in learning any of the mechanics of the game

Like for example, I play as Irish on Rush XL and look into the sky and see 5 mosquito drones flying. When I die I switch to Rao and immediately clear the sky by hacking all the drones and just shooting them down. Why don't Rao players ever hack drones??

You can hack so much stuff and it disappears. Anti vehicle mines when hacked vanish. Hacked claymores vanish. Casper drones can't move when hacked. Ranger drones can't shoot or move when hacked. Rao is literally the most powerful ranged offensive specialist in the game and it's sad that nobody uses him effectively.

The current problem is that designation, whether from SOFLAM, tracer darts, or Rao hacks, simply isn't visible to anyone. Locks can be achieved if one aims at a designated vehicle.

BF2042 has a lot of customization variety so it depends... But mostly people just run 1-3x optics and 6x-8x on Sniper Rifles

He was killing me in super impressive ways, very precise usage of his fighter's machineguns, legit a controlled full auto fire while spinning his jet and doing all kinds of crazy shit

My friend reported him for cheating and then the guy disappeared from the lobby ... I think he was legit, he just went to get dinner once his jet was finally shot down lol
