I didn't have an issue with the game before gadget restrictions aka classes. I preferred it without restrictions fundamentally. I have a sick clip of me mid air eliminating a stealth heli after pursuing it as sundance, and using recoiless m5 on it. They removed that from the main game now in favour of... nostalgia and this specific idea of BF franchise class based teamwork.

I'm a DMR main. Sniping tips #1: Patience. It's going to be a long haul so just relax. Try and stay generally close to the action via a sight line (not all maps are great for this and will provide you with nonstop good targets. Your vantage point is well known to the opponent, they don't want you to have it and will fight you up close for it or with Close Air Support).

#2: Parallax. You don't have to, or want to be constantly scoped when looking for targets. Rather, keep a close eye on targets that move across the screen, marked enemies and muzzle flashes or other tells that give away a targets position. That's your food.

#3: Aim settings. Maybe this should've been the first tip. Make sure you have a fairly easy and accurate method to get pinpoint accuracy on static spots at a distance. Practice shooting at a corner far in the distance to calibrate your aim settings

Might as well give the other tips #4: Curves. Gravity affects all bullet travel paths, especially at further distance and flight times (obviously). So the result is that a skew of aiming further above targets the further away they are is the best way to stay "100%" accurate. If you visualize the curve your bullet flies (from the side) you can quickly visualize what angled straight on height deviation would be required to hit better shots. Also, never forget to aim ahead of the target based on the travel time and their movement. If you're behind or below, you gotta aim "further ahead" or higher.

#5: Bullet impacts. When you miss, that information is super vital. How far off target was it visually? If you you adjust for that exact value, then you've increased your accuracy by that much.

Lol not worry. The person who came at 2042 that hard loves bots in MP games. I don't hate them too much, but I can't say I like getting aimbotted by an actual bot from across the map, just because I dared enter into its apparent sphere of influence. It's like they got the iron dome tech straight from the U.S. DOD and put it into BF2042 AI.

The BF3 single player bots? Haha. You realise that 2042 has various bots which scale to the players performance that they are targetting and will option select to either do something like be mega terrible, mediocre, or way better than you at aim and reaction time, to keep the experience "fresh". As a result, the 2042 bots can and do literally instant aimbot headshot people in specific ranges sometimes if you're good enough to trigger that from them. Trust me, I and many of us are aware of this.

I do wish stuff like Venice unleashed was more popular tho because even older CoDs have significant player bases even today. Unfortunately for Battlefield titles the opposite is true. (Older CoDs aren’t thriving but clients like plutonium, would have been sm2, etc had large popularity)

the joke was that Sundance, a specialist is asking for for an ammobox and a bot took too long. The bot tries to answer with a military honourific to Sundance, who is non-binary. The bot doesn't know the equivalent military honourific for a non-binary (it would be sir by default probably)
