Greetings, I have been having terrible stuttering issues in battlefield 2042 since I installed it on my pc. I have it on my main nvme Ssd with my os, running 64 bit windows 10 with a i5 13400F, Rx6600 and 32 gb of 3200 mhz ram. I have tried enabling dx12 experimental, turned all the settings down ingame alongside in the radeon settings for the game, and yet rhe stutter persists. Any help is greatly appreciated

Have fun is most important. For XP + fun I usually just make sure to go for ribbons. So switching from engi to support and recon to get repairs/resupplies and spots ribbons that you often forget.

The difference between launch and endgame bf4 and 2042 is bf4 had some questionable decisions but ironically enough used to have CTE to draw feedback from players, so stuff like visual recoil was removed from that game. 2042 on the other hand is full of them and pretty much the first year of the games life, we were beta testing lol

Oh I understand where you're going with this and you're right. You're absolutely right that people will eat up shit if it has a big name tied to it. However, you need to remember that the publishers have their own expectations and they need to blow it up and overpromise each time while making their customers excited about something, no matter how small or large it can be. Movement is more of a matter of subjective opinion tbh but I preferred battlefields traditionally grounded movement, and I generally dislike the trend in fps of reducing any form of restriction or cooldown when and where possible, slowly destroying a casual experience

People say it adds “skill gap” but good luck maintaining a player base when everyone pre emptively logs on knowing they have to play like it’s a tournament to go 2kd lol
