• No random spread on weapons (Recoil patterns instead)
• Melee weapons types/1st person takedowns (Like BF1)
• No counter knife/front knifing (Unless some form of bayonet)
• Remove squad revive from core mechanics (Make medics important), but allow enabling in custom games/servers
• No spotting at all while downed (A downed player shouldn't be able to spot your position after you have defeated them)
• Allow players to take ammo from support players/players carrying ammo (Like in Hardline)

All of these things actually dilute class roles/gameplay.

Either that or have totally separate timers for squad/medic revives.

I agree with your first point, but I don’t fully agree with the 2nd because spread has always been used for gun balancing in fps like CoD and Battlefield. If you rely on recoil values exclusively that’s just going to create an equally awful experience as if spread is too overtuned

I’m also of the belief that since battlefield is an arcade shooter the general ceiling should allow everyone to get in and find a place

I'm on PC, but still it's a pretty common report.

Even people with top of the line machines are still having issues with the hiccups/stuttering/massive long framerate drops/short freezes

It used to have a pso and some other scopes but it seems they got rid of em in favour for the 2042 sights

SVD is still one of the best looking guns in the game by far yeah

however... SVK with 6KU suppressor, LWG foregrip and any big scope is too

give it a nice dark skin like black "fleck" and you'll get hired by a special forces group for a special mission instantly

hey just wondering whats possible to unlock and not unlock/gain by doing solo/co-op versions of gamemodes

I think everything can be unlocked fighting bots from what I heard. not like you can avoid bots in regular online play anyway... yuck

yeah but I think regular online vs the specific solo/co-op mode unlocks might be different, I read from things that were from a year ago but I wasnt 100% sure if anything has changed since then

i shoulda added that to my complaint list. the fact that sometimes the bots really just aimbot, or notice you from ridiculous angles as they run in a random direction. real players, even with hella widescreen FOVs barely notice me sneaking around on the edges of their screens but bots always wanna chat with bullets going my way, revealing me.

about that, a long time ago it was harder and xp was limited, but from what i understand now, all portal servers get 100% exp and can be used to farm unlocks.
