BfV has introduced a new max turret speed mechanic that makes aiming in first person feel super clunky on console.
To be clear my only issue with this system is its impact on first person aiming, third person aiming is fine because you don’t generally use it for precision. However trying to hit infantry with the coaxial turret in first person FEELS LIKE MY MONITOR HAS 50ms OF INPUT LAG. But then when you zoom in this effect goes away completely!?!
So basically the only way to aim accurately in tanks is to ads while in first person, but THIS KILLS MY EFFECTIVENESS AT CLOSE RANGE so any decent tank on console is just sitting way back from all the infantry..
SOLUTION: Just remove the acceleration while aiming in first person.. Having a slow max turn speed does not need to add a horrifyingly slow acceleration to the aiming. This would be equivalent to just have a lower sensitivity in other Battlefield games.
Let me know if you guys have noticed this because I can’t seem to find any other discussions on the topic. Also this has nothing to do with aim assist, only aim acceleration.
Tldr: Pls remove the slow acceleration from FFP in tanks, this will make aiming at close range more effective.

for a combat rifle you want the gas settings tuned for the rounds you'd be issued, not the softer shooting ones you train on to reduce parts wear

I don't think you'll see the level of destruction change relative to previous 2042 maps to be honest. The game clearly wasn't built with it in mind, and anything that has more substantial destruction is the BC2 portal content, ported over.
