So tanks are weak against air power, which is why you want air support and AA / aa concepts. capture more of the field allows for your ground forces to further spread their ground and surface to air influence
it's almost as if the game is based on a battlefield or something
tanks are strong against enemy ground vehicles and can siege specific targets via rushes or well placed artillery fire.
javelins, you gotta pay attention to the lock source. tanks are very much team oriented in this game, that or you sit back and play artillery and farm the whole map

I don't know how bad it is in CoD but the link that I just posted and those time stamps show just how ridiculous the controller aim assist is in this game. The only difference here is that instead of doing it automatically for you, you just have to keep pressing the scope/sight button over and over and it perfectly tracts. You could rip out the analog stick for aiming as with that much tracking, you don't need it.
That right there is a level of "accessibility" that is far too much. And this isn't even truly an accessibility reasoning like people try to paint it as anyway. It's all for the sake of balancing

Battlefield should definitely evolve and change over time, but I think there's a balance to be struck between keeping what's always worked, and what could be improved.
The franchise has a legacy after all, and I guess the fans of the older games feel like that legacy has been disregarded in a few places
