To me, not yet. Still missing a server browser, excluding the one in Portal

I donno if anyone agrees, but Battlelog was way ahead of its time. You could change your load out and it would apply in-game, you had platoons, see almost real time scores, etc...the only problem are fake player counts (which was resolved by a browser extension)

Because Rush is probably in its worst state in 2042.

Battlefield 3 was Prime rush gameplay. I havent experienced Battlefield 4 but 3 was basically made for Rush.

But the maps in this game dont mesh well with Rush. The only good maps for Rush are, funnily enough: Battlefield 3 ones.

battlelog was terrible, "ahead of its time" is like commander mode, a experimentation in "what will the playerbase like to see", but nobody wants to open a external browser just to join a match, it was a flawed, inconvenient system that was there purely to continue support from battlefield 3

will never be a comparison that's close, battlefield 4 had a CTE, free paid DLC, support from DICE LA to fix the base mess of a game that DICE sweden never resolved, 2042 is never going to be able to be on that level in terms of "rising from the ashes"

most of the content for battlefield 4 was finalised before it's launch, 2042 was not, trying to cross compare both is a flawed comparison

it's not, the closest is 3

4 in terms of support for fixing the game is above every other title in the franchise, and it always will be

3 was just the lite version of 4 in terms of how broken it was at launch

the only difference is the DLC cadence was tightly packed together so you could ignore half the issues when 3 expansions launched near simultaneously

shit netcode, god mode exploits the campaign being broken as shit with missions being impossible to complete due to glitches, coop was a mess with the same issues if not worse, multiplayer hit registration issues disconnections every other match and it being borderline unplayable for the first 4 months, is battlefield 3's history

and that is just the start

I always played support and as such wasn't affected by it. I did switch it up and didn't find myself affected nearly as much since ammo stations were easy to find.

I never understood why people want more 1 thousand weapons a thousand maps, when you can only play one weapon at time
and if you keep switching weapon you never master any of them having like 10 kills with each
the same for maps, you would take forever to memorize maps layouts and you'd just suck at all of them

I never personally had any issues learning maps in previous games. I also dont think that 2042 is lacking in weapons right now (But it REALLY was at release)

One thing id like to have more of is similarly performing weapons, with slightly different setups...like having a 50 cal barrett ...that would work similarly to the NTW...but not damage vehicles (But have a faster reload to compensate). Or having more weapons that perform like the SFAR, but without the underbarrel

My favorite game mode is still CQ 64. But I wish some of the capture points were larger.

I loved the increased point sizes on the control game mode. Really let you have good battles in many areas.

Hi, I'm having trouble with loading in at least 3 times a day. I'm on PS5 I launch the game then hit x to start then it will not load. Sometimes it will but then my friends list is empty. I've been taking York an hour to load in properly. Dose anyone have any suggestions. I've tried everything I can think of
