No new portal maps is the second saddest part of portal. My number one regret is that we never got cross era weapon/vehicle use. Like fully custom modes where you have BF3 classes, with 2042 weapons but 1942 vehicles...or a mix and match of all weapons, vehicles and gadgets.

I dabbled with a few only coz my kids had em….. u didnt miss much. Campaigns got smaller, cheat numbers got bigger amd controllers were at risk. 🤣 no matter how many try to put down 2042 as to where it stands i the BF canon, its still better gameplay, no massive P2W paywalls and at least Dice work hard on eliminating cheats.

That 6 month number was based on a map the size and scale of Exposure 128
Idk if scale really matters lol, I mean it obviously counts if it was a difference between 128 players map and a 2 vs 2 players map like on COD you know, but I don't really think there's a big difference in the time they need to make a 128 players map and a 64 players map, if you look at the last map it sure is smaller than the other ones but it required a lot of details as well so idk if size really matters, I guess it still takes them 5 or 6 good months to make a map no matter the player count it's planned for
