And in the heat of battle getting close to a moving enemy tank is impossible
So I’d use EMP nades to shut down their firing system so that maybe if they escape
They can’t fire back

BFV animations were nice but it did mean that escaping a tank or plane took a bit more planning and luck than previous games
2042 has that benefit where I know if the enemy is just going to shell the tank even if I’m not in it I can get out and run without dying

c5 or at grenade has a much higher rng chance
but you can do it with the javelin, liz's launcher, and the rpg-7
even disable the turret

Tbh, I'm not a fan of matchmaking at all, as I said moments ago above. I use portal so I can find the match to my liking based on gamemods hardcore and ping etc..
I play one hardcore server thats 110 ping max for me and i notice with any server over 100ms you'll run into that issue your having.
I'll be in a tank sniping choppers and granted I'm being a rat at times yes, but its a real pain when you launch a 120mm he round smack the chopper and nothing happens.
Always check you're internet connection and download speed and upload speed to make sure it isnt you but mainly its EA servers.
