The AN-94 might be a special exception, but if they add it to AOW in a way that its hyperburst is added to full auto (first two shots at 1800 and subsequent shots at 600), then it'd be a bit pointless to use its burst mode.
Oddly enough, not many games that I'm aware of get the AN94's full auto right. Black Ops 2 comes to mind as an exception, but apparently with a slower RoF burst.

I'm fixing my KD. Because I rushed specialist like Faulk and Paik to T1 awhile back. Not even worried about kills just Assists, Revives and stuff like that. I'd literally just jump into swarms of enemy troops dozens of time and turn on the Paik scanner for the Assists. Lmao 😂
