The only reason why it was counter-able in BF4 is because from the front it's an instant kill. Now the frontal melee does damage instead of an animation. BF5 and BF1 had it so that the animation only played if the melee damage was a guaranteed kill

Yeah, no doubt they have been working hard to turn things around. It's evident by seeing that it's currently the most played battlefield. Personally, I feel if I play and support the game, it'll give devs encouragement that they can repeat the cycle of delivering how they did and spend 2 years fixing it. That's a me thing though lol has there been any hints of future titles to come or are they still releasing new seasons for 2042?
