if you don't unlock it in the battle pass, it will be available via assignments. All currenlty locked weapons and gadgets and vehicles will be unlocked via assignments. Therer is no reason you won't unlock weapons in the battle pass because they're free.

Yes and no. It's all preferences. Personally I prefer cobra even on strafing. Which it supposedly less accurate. But in my experience I preformed better with it. Just depends on what you want control or accuracy. Like most controller players seek control and most MnK players seek accuracy. Or vice versa. All depends.
