speaking from experience, a heli is only "op and broken" when NO ONE on the enemy team knows how to counter it. the helis have so many counters, compared to a wildcat or brawler, and are disadvantaged heavily. wildcats sit on a hill with aps and point and click, while helis have to dodge lis, flare from aa's, flare ground vehicles, get one shot most the time, can be shot with any weapon

people who say helis are op are either new at the game or havnt learned how to counter them properly

There are some maps where its very very hard to get helis down due to cover being easily available, especially if you play heli all the time and get the paths and escape patterns locked in.

Due to the nature of helicopters it's hard to do much about. Personally I think you should only be able to repair, lets say 95% of the dmg you take when in an air vehicle, then shoot long enough and it will go down.

But that is just my homebrew solution. Something like that has not been tested I believe.

to clarify my arguments against this, yes wildcats can sit on a hill and be incredibly safe but their attack potential is very stunted by doing this and they're already the weakest vehicle vs anything other than aircraft
dodging lis in helis isn't hard with the nerfs she's taken and once you've dodged both rockets its 25 seconds before it recharges a single round
flaring is the easiest thing in the world as a heli lmao come on man, the only reason a heli gets one shot "most of the time" is because so little can effectively kill them other than instant death
shooting them with any weapon doesnt work against transport helis and attack helis, and it also does mega poopoo damage (basically a waste of time)

Ok let's just say level 20. I'm S303. You're XP goes towards your ranking up towards 21, 22, 23 so on and so forth. The metals you are referring too are for battle pass progression. Those have rewards like skins, guns, attachments, etc.
But XP ranking does not. Your rank is your reward on XP.

My IMO I think vault weapons need subsonic and other types of ammo. Especially having heavy suppressors. And the shotgun would make more sense with the 6ku and wrapped suppressor. And other weapons like the M5, PB, GEW should have the option of a heavy suppressors. But Dice and their balances it a catch 22 on its own. Lol 😂

My main load out on any gun is suppressor and subsonic ammo. The VHX is my main rn because of it. Because I could be sitting at the could be sitting at outside corner of a doorway. And just shoot everyone in the back that runs out. And unless I get drop pinged and someone who's skill actually pays attention to it then it make a nice way to camp behind enemy line. Especially in the redacted map. But that's for me Personally. Some like it some don't.

the heavy suppressor isn't penalised on LMGs as much compared to other categories due to spread, since the magazine is that big you just full auto through any additional bullet necessary for a TTK at range, it's a minor but a very important distinction
