dice said 2042 jets and helicopters free look speed got increased because it was too slow

but bf3 heli and jets are the old, slow free look speed still

i think i figured out a short term solution at least for me for the black screen bug though

in the top left of ea app i press app recovery, this makes it so instead of the game crashing every 2 games it crashes every 12 games

still dice should fix black screen alt+f4 crash though

idk maybe it crashes every 8 games but the fix is just a band aid to delay the inevitable
and you will have to re-do the ea app recovery every time it starts happening

A lot of people wouldn't agree with me but I think specialists were a fucking bad concept, they released unbalanced and broken af, the main proof of this is that even 1.5 years after release they were still processing how to fix them (like Dozer changes or Engineers improvements), they could have just sticked it to normal characters with no names and no gadgets but no, instead they prefered adding something nobody ever asked for and that would make the whole gameplay even more painful to balance

I love how squishy tanks are but not a single fucking engineer shoots at tanks on last gen.

Yknow until i'm in one which then their entire team hunts me down like a wild fucking dog.

We just had a Ecouple protecting eachother going 30+ kills 2 deaths because there was two whole engineers bothering to do anything.

They kept repairing eachother.

You can use the command menu thing. Hold down Q on PC or hold whatever the spot button is on console and it should have a little thing at the bottom for objectives.

I dont trust LFG after Destiny 2, and i'm always in a squad anyways.

Regardless even after asking for people to shoot at the tanks or put tank mines down: I'm usually the one doing exactly those alone.

they're few and far between

but even if you find just 1 reliable guy, that can make the gameplay experience that much more enjoyable

When people say class system they also just refer to getting rid of the hero shooter dynamic the specialists cause. Yes elites were sort of a precursor to this in a skin aspect but it’s full fledged now

Playing with definitions and personal perspective of hero shooter vs class based shooter does not change how 2042s specialists are not a popular thing nor are good for this franchise

I wouldn’t say BF1 elites have any correlation to modern specialists. They were pickups balanced and designed around actual shock troopers or prototype soldier concepts

Specialists have games like black ops 4 and apex legends to inspire them for: micro transactions and trivialized gameplay
