ok honest to god more open maps like breakaway and discarded need hard sniper restrictions

they contribute nothing but piss everyone off, they never play the point, and just pokey poke on top of god knows where at the edge of the map

also they ruin breakthrough, because when a third of your team are snipers sitting in spawn no wonder you auto lose sectors

I've experienced too many snipers ruining the flow of the maps in many Battlefield games. A cap on them, perhaps a sign-up system, does seem like the perfect solution if you ignore all the people that would complain 😄

The single overpowered railgun sniper on Hangar 21, Final Stand DLC, BF4 worked really well too. Hard to get and keep because everyone wanted it, which caused lots of fun battles. Could work in 2042 too imo.
