Lots of bf4’s movement techs were very exploity, but the actual stuff they had programmed in like air strafe and momentum conservation on the ground made it so fun to play

When 2042’s is almost purely what’s been designed, and it’s pretty solid in that regard too

You can tell that the movement designers wanted some room for expression and depth, while not being too over the top
