Welp, played a round. New map seems good for a meatgrinder. Slowed BP progress sucks ass and feels like shit. Game weirdly decided to use gen-7 console graphics for some reason which was annoying. I hope they revert this dramatically slowed BP progress.

If anyone's still getting the issue with EAanticheat closing and the game not launching I found a REAL solution.

Windows Security > App & Browser Control > Exploit Protection Settings > Program Settings > add BF2042.exe > Set all settings to off.

Restart or clear cache of EA App and the game should now launch properly.
