if you are on steam, follow the below procedure:

Uninstall the EA app from the control panel, reboot your machine.
You'll need to de-link the EA app registration from the game, so go to Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify Integrity of game files.
Boot the game after this is finished, it will reinstall the EA app and install EA anticheat correctly.
You should be able to boot after.
