The combat is good.
Yes, but it would've worked the same if it was just 1 deathmatch map inside a cube and 1 DM map with one of the other objectives. Combat just feels the same everywhere, and there's basically no environment to traverse and explore since it's just a plain open 2x3 grid
The 7 original maps, plus Exposure, plus mostly Flashpoint, were "here's some location from the daily economic life of people, maybe even taken from real life, let's see if we can turn interesting areas into objectives"
"oh wow there's that tall mountain with buildings, and it has ANTENNAS!!! let's put some objectives there"
"a town in the swamp with lots of tall grass surrounding!"
"a huge area with lots of solar panels! a whole WALL separating the place into two halves!!!"

Well, kinda yeah. Some, ummm, let's say entropists in Cyberpunk 2077 words, that would be much more suitable for a game with a delusional story about some revolution. But if you suspend disbelief a bit you may actually build an emotional connection with them, unlike with the faceless BF3/4 soldiers (even though the latter, well, turned out to be more realistic… but after the game's release)

Probably the source of Stranded’s problems is the fact that the map’s centrepiece, the ship, is basically a trap.
It’s a pain in the ass to capture and hold, but it’s only one sector.
Every other sector is much more accessible and only have one point each.
If any team decides to focus on fun indoor fighting, they’re liable to lose the rest of the map

This is why I only main destiny 2 on PC. Still has heaps of predictable issues only PC's tend to face but at least its only 1 game I gotta suffer through it. Then the rest can be on console where crashing, black screens, freezing, e.c.t are just wayyyy less prominent than PC.
