Yeah if anything it would seem to be the opposite since if the damage were primarily direct impact before then missing was a big deal since blast damage was smaller. There are two things that come to mind to explain:

1. They could mean that the inner blast radius for those weapons is smaller but I kind of doubt that

2. It could be that blast damage is taking into account all the various parts of the vehicle. If you look in the vehicle files they all have different parts, each with their own HP. Maybe what they are saying is less accurate hit means that fewer parts are hit simultaneously resulting in lower overall damage.

IF 2042 had persistent servers for AOW modes...and it had been as it is now at launch...it would have been a pretty good time IMO.

We would have 3/4 more maps now vs what we actually have...and get a new map every 3 months. Maybe if the game had been a critical success, then more resources would have been allocated to it from support studios to make even more maps.
