M44 is fun to pull sneaky 1HK snipes within 100m
MP412 has a high enough rof that it can dance with the other pistols.
It's higher than the BFP.50, which is my favorite sidearm in the game.
Only drawback is reload time.
But even then it's not too bad.
I'd easily use the M44 over the MCS-880.
Then again what primary/secondary wouldn't I rather use over the MCS?

Support and recon are the two classes where locking their weapons severely weakens their ability to be as usable in as many cases as possible. If you lock Recon to snipers you're hurting assault recon specialists like Paik and support recon specialists like Rao and Blasco. Only Casper really works well at distances where snipers are primarily effective with his role and abilities.

I've used SMGs as Irish and Falck. I don't really notice any significant difference in ability to draw quicker.
and the longer hold breath isn't enough of a difference between a recon spec like Blasco and Falck, who I used to get T1 with the SWS.

Now, assault getting three extra mags with assault rifles? That's a difference.
Engi's reduced dispersion with LMGs may be a big difference maker, although I have not played a whole lot of engi so I couldn't vouch for it.
I know EA DICE said they weren't planning to add new specialists. But what if they change their mind and add a couple more. Thoughts on what kind of abilities they'd have?
I was thinking an engi with a flamethrower and a support with a laser sword.
More specifically regarding the hypothetical support kit, what if they have a mechanical prosthetic arm that houses said laser sword and also doubles as a revive tool?
