The AI can't really use stuff that requires them to hold the trigger to fire. They have a hard time using stuff like the Mortar Strike and the Rorsch-MK4

they also have uses other than the standard laying a trap and waiting - you can always sneak behind stationary vehicles and place three down and shoot them (though i think this credits the gun) or hope/force the vehicle to retreat over them

also works as a last ditch thing if a vehicle drives into close quarters or directly you, just toss them at the vehicle/in its path and it should trigger it

It has its moments and I see the value in it, I enjoy a lot of the maps and the aesthetic. But the infantry combat, gunplay, and vehicle weapons just don't feel "right" or balanced in any capacity, and there is so little semblance of teamplay or squad coordination in conquest matches that I feel like I'm playing MWII Ground War more than Battlefield.
