Hello, folks. In a bit of a pickle here and I'm wondering if there's a solution beyond getting a new PC, which I won't be able to for at least three weeks.
So, I've got a set-up with a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and AMD Ryzen 3 2200G. I got 2042 during the free trial in Season 3 and throughout that period, the game ran generally fine at 1080p (highest resolution available to me)
Since Season 4 dropped, I have found great difficulty in even accessing the game, as the first start-up will crash every time, forcing me to restart. Once I actually get into the game, I will manage to play through a maximum of three matches before I am greeted with a black screen, with no option but to restart.
I'm just looking for any solutions at this point, because I actually enjoy playing this game, but it isn't half aggravating when I have difficulty in even loading it up

There are many things that point to season 6 NOT being the end tho -For example Ryan MCcarthur saying 2042 has a long road ahead literally just a few weeks ago. also don't resort to spam, if you miss a shot or two and they're shooting back, it sounds counterintuitive but just slow down. You do good damage per shot so taking a millisecond longer to get on target and fire will make a difference.
