In bfv squad orders were well made and even when playing with randoms people would follow to get the points and the squad lead could do the call outs etc... in bf 2042 was a feature that was never in the game..(and it should) so nobody follows it and its gonna be really hard not to mention impossible to make people start using and playing as a squad.. unless you are on discord playing with friends.

I think the game doesn't forget if someone requested orders after an order has been placed. In one of the games I played yesterday, I requested orders at the start of the match and the squad lead made orders 5 times. Then at a certain point midway through the match I was given squad lead because an order hadn't been made in two minutes and the old squad lead got pissed with me
