There’s something that these jets have that we call ‘mouse liftoff compensation’. It existed in past games but in 2042 it’s cranked up to the max. The only real way to counteract it is to make sure you only move your mouse just below or on the maximum turn rate, or else it’ll carry on turning when you let go.
