Went on to play The Crew 2 and The Division 2 - zero issues.
Came back again 7PM - more ATT users all saying not able to get into the game at all, all other ISP's fine.
again just now 820, 840 PM still an issue with mainly ATT.

this is something between ATT and DICE's Cloud Network, whether its a DNS Failure or some point between CDN Networks is the issue. its going to take ATT and DICE to figure it out.

also noteworthy - ATT's DNS is utter trash, and ATT will not allow you to use another DNS, they hijack any redirecting attempts to use anything but their DNS.

you cant do it at the modem, and anything else as, i mentioned ATT hijacks and sets the DNS back to their DNS.

Nothing you use will work, ATT actively looks for DNS redirects to other sources like Google, 1DNS..... any DNS Provider OTHER than their own in-house DNS and hijacks that request back to their DNS.
