Can try a hard reset. Hold the power button for 10 seconds, then unplug the console for like 2 mins. Plug it back in and turn it back on. That usually fixes most issues.

Spectator mode would help a lot because it all comes to HOW the dude is playing - I've witnessed some really atrocious cheaters in BFV for ex, the profile says 1 KD, not very accurate, not many HS%

But DICE is headed the right way. With the spread changes and maybe some future addition to the gunplay, we could see a shift in metas. We will not have an other RM68 episode anymore. But after all, besides meta, people gravited around what seems "familiar" to them. Like an AK, M5, PBX etc
And I find it quite diverse ingame - I'm not dying to 30/32 RM68 users for example

Engagment distances are still an issue and will forever be because of map design/layout - player models distance - near zero recoil. 10 meters in BF4 is vastly different from 10m in 2042 as an example.
