My primary frustration with Battlefield games was always weapon restrictions. I get it, certain classes should use specific guns with specific purposes, but it removes a lot of choice and creates this feeling of just being a cog in a machine. You do one thing and one thing only.

With the restrictions removed in 2042 it's more you can do a lot, but you can do one thing better. So you can more easily adapt to the changing game state

My only real problem with bf in its current state is the gameplay duration.

Still matches too short, loading and queing for nect match (whether auto matchmaking by sitting in the post map queues or manually searching for another match) just takes way too long.

I spend more time loading than actually playing still. We need longer matches (higher ticket count) and shorter end of round/start of round sequences

Recoil? I didnt noticed recoil at all.. but yeah at range is not the best.. but can hold itself jf you have trigger discipline and can control recoil well

Since S5 started I’ve been beaming people with the G36 at range with tap fire

I notice it when holding the trigger down at range. But never noticed it tap firing

I run it with whichever muzzle break reduces vertical recoil (you think I’d know the name by now), high power rounds, and LWG grip. It’s one of my favorite guns rn.

I dont think muzzles matter that much.. but still, and might be placebo, i use tac comp whenever i can

Idk why. But I always just use the champion. I know horizontal recoil is like, the killer or whatever. But I only really notice horizontal when it’s egregious. And no gun has egregious recoil on this game already. So less vertical recoil just makes shooting even easier for me.

Bsv is still, at least for me, the best overall weapon in the game
