I can tell you that I've had full lobbies with crossplay off on PS5 from launch and every season to this day so the activeplayer site doesn't look accurate just based off how I'm able to comfortably always have crossplay turned off. Numbers need to be pretty substantial for that.

This is continous work, we've started that with Battlefield 2042 attachments being adapted for Vault Weapons. Granted, it may not feel like that right now due to the Accuracy & Dispersion feelings at the moment but I hope it at least shows how we're starting to work through and adapt things to bring them more in line.

I think and I don't want to speak for Alex here, we always have these chats before I offer up my opinion on things but

It's important to add that Vault Weapons in and of themselves are not fully fledged All-Out Warfare weapons, and that's okay.

We had brought them forward from a different time and a different way of Battlefield in some regards (1942, BC2, BF3) that in and of itself would be unfair to change.

But the attachments do help to bring them more into the adaptability of Battlefield 2042, and allows you to define how you'd like to use them. But they are also nostalgic hits from times gone by, and they should always be seen like that no matter what's done to them.

Yeah tbh I see them as an engagement towards the community as we all wanted more guns in the main modes, now they look like AOW weapons which is good and they play better which is even more good, I think the main problem of the game at launch was that it never used the full potential of the content (Portal content being left behind at first), but now the game feels more enjoyable as weaponry gets larger and I thank the whole team for that
