Not a fan of the change, adding this much randomness to gunfights just does not feel good and if anything lowers the skill ceiling. If you really wanted to encourage people to burst at distance (which to be clear I'm fine with that) then why not just add more recoil/increase recoil multiplier after the 15th shot instead of massive RNG spread? That way your bullets are still connecting where your reticle is, and it actually rewards good recoil control/ learning the recoil pattern. This would add to the skill gap while still achieving your original design goal of encouraging players to burst at a distance, and the gunplay would feel tighter/more consistent. I'd be willing to wager a lot of the playerbase isn't even aware of the spread changes, not everyone reads patch notes. I imagine those folks are rather frustrated that their bullets are not connecting with where they are aiming, it's very unsatisfying
