Description: The SOFLAM (Special Operations Forces *Laser* Acquisition Marker) should be made into a precision laser designator that does not rely on the regular lock-on system but rather fires a laser which can be either locked on to before (LOBL) or after launch (LOAL) by the Recoilless M5. 

In LOBL mode it would work pretty much as it does already where the Recoilless M5 would lock onto the target with line-of-sight on the SOFLAM designated location/vehicle/soldier.

In LOAL mode the Recoilless M5 projectile would be able to lock on to the closest designated target within a certain cone in front of the projectile.

This laser designation would not be disrupted by flares or smoke but require the designator to manually track the intended target to hit.

If you actually try to use it to play the game and play objective it's totally useless and can be killed easy.

If you just camp with it in an area enemy infantry can't go, it annoys everyone else and has a very slim chance of being killed.

Also if you have a wildcat covering you'll never approach that tor alive in any aircraft cause the anti air gun will kill you first

The tor is balanced against ground vehicles. Problem is its annoying when you're in a little bird fighting another heli and a tor snipes you. It's just bullshit

Alternatively, the TOR should have been built similar to the Swedish gun carriages/tank destroyers that actually exist. Where there is no turret. Only minor up and down axis. To stop it from hitting air. Very fast, very mobile, but can’t overly track fast targets. Look them up! They are neat.

Well, I think a key reason that the UDES project designs for a future version of the Strv 103 never ended up happening is that maneuver warfare is a thing. The Strv 103 could not fire on the move (well technically it could but so ineffectively that it practically was unviable).
