Good morning all, I have a quick question. I have searched online for the answer and haven't found a solution. I'm having issues with my mic while playing. No one seems to hear me in the squad when I'm talking. I also very very rarely hear any one else either. Is this an issue with the game itself because my mic works in other games and in discord. Its driving me nuts...How the heck do you play an competitive FPS well, without being able to communicate with your team? Also, it seems THX doesn't work for BF2042 despite it being an approved game on Razers THX webpage. Anyone else have these issues? Thank you

Teamplay In this game, and battlefield as a whole, boils down to accidentally helping teammates by your own desire to survive. Very few people have the gamesense to understand how to play with the intent of supporting people beyond the simple ammo and health drops

No man’s sky never really managed to recapture my interest even despite its updates. You can grind for money in a matter of hours, get S tier upgrades in say, a week. The story is just a means to get you to begin the main game loop. So ultimately it’s just about building and exploring. If that’s what you want then go for it but I prefer a bit more progression

Probably the potential for if everything goes right; I'm tinfoil hatting here, but the concept of 2042 seemed to be the ideal way to attract a huuuge playerbase for battlefield;
You have portal for all the older players who have nostalgia and want a server browser and balanced gameplay etc, you have hazard zone for hopping on the new trend train, you have AOW for all the newbies getting matchmaked into 128p chaos who don't care about balance or whatever and just want to see the crazy battlefield stuff with 16 specialists designed to squeeze out skin money and be more profitable than ever before, there's a bunch of vehicles to also get skins for and guns and they were likely going to introduce multiple drones to buy skins for as well

Ideal conditions would lead to massive consistent players and a giant revenue stream

they just really really really really fucking fucked it up

and then obviously ditched a bunch of the long term support for it

And that dev straight up said that wasn't much to go off of so they went and changed the camera. While that will definitely help, it's telling that a fair few people go in, say 'it feels floaty' or 'it feels like a bus' and just move on. Man I wrote an entire 700 word response .

I can't really disagree with that because I am also annoyed by nonconstructive criticism that says "do better" or "this is wrong" but don't provide possible solutions. Which brings me to my wet dream of having mod support for a Battlefield game as it'd be a win-win for developers and players alike.

Why is it a win for developers? Because skilled modders can learn the engine beforehand and the devs can pick out especially skilled developers to recruit for the studio. As far as I can recall, DICE had major issues in training new developers on the Frostbite engine.

Why is it a win for players? Because it'd let the community tailor the experience to their liking (within reasons) through, e.g. additional mechanics and community made maps, etc etc.

I was very excited by the Portal thing for BF2042 because it seemed like a step in what I consider the right direction.

What relevance does this have to the "constructive criticism" point? Because it'd give the players an opportunity to "do it better themselves" without having to start from 0.

If you do, DL overwolf mod launcher and search for titanfall2, add you game directory, search for northstar mod and install, then launch the game from the mod launcher. The game is on fire again with the new community servers. Barely any wait time to get into matches. Only downside is no progression, everything is unlocked.

x8 the first mil dot is like 500 meters (for DXR-1). But when you zoom in even more maybe like x10 have small dots that you can barely see using x8 above the first mil dot so when you zoomo in x10 it should match with something for like 200 - 300 meters not sure yet.
