Shitting on infantry damage on top is just bad design and thus no one ever fuckin uses it

subsonic is also useless

close combat and high power do actually have use cases but it completely depends on the gun because the damage they change is totally arbitrarily decided

On some weapons they're the best options by miles

On other weapons they do nothing apart from make it worse

And none of this information is available in game
